Musso & Frank Provide Update On Reopening Status
The longtime Hollywood restaurant has been closed entirely since July.
HOLLYWOOD, CA — Although indoor dining has officially returned to Los Angeles, many restaurants still need some extra time to prepare the kitchens before welcoming diners back inside. Musso & Frank, a Hollywood fixture for over 100 years, is one such restaurant, thanking their loyal customers in an announcement providing an update on their reopening status.
"We are currently analyzing the preliminary guidelines issued by L.A. County for restaurants to reopen their dining rooms at 25%," CFO Mark Echeverria said. "Yes, that martini is certainly getting closer — and we are now starting the extensive process of putting the gears in motion for a reopening in the near future."
Quoting customer and high-profile Mark Steinberg, Echeverria also added "We can see the martini at the end of the bar!"

The restaurant had previously closed entirely on July 29, stating they wouldn't reopen until indoor dining was once again allowed. In December, Musso & Frank launched an employee relief zhttps://www.gofundme.com/f/mus... on GoFundMe, which has brought in over $100,000 as of March 18.
"So many friends, longtime patrons, and members of our extended Musso 'family' reached out to us without prompting, inquiring as to how they might go about making a charitable contribution to the welfare of our employees," Echeverria said after crossing the milestone. "We were touched by these acts of generosity. Knowing that dozens of longtime and new patrons were willing to demonstrate their support for our employees warmed our hearts. Everyone really came through for the Musso team and helped us achieve our $100,000 goal."
