New Seafood & Oyster Eatery Opens At Original Farmers Market
Roxy & Jo's Seafood Grill joins L.A. market line-up with fish & chips, lobster rolls & more - plus, of course, raw oysters on half shell.
LOS ANGELES, CA — A new, open-air seafood restaurant, Roxy and Jo’s Seafood Grill and Oyster Bar, has opened at The Original Farmers Market at Third & Fairfax in Los Angeles, serving up such boat-to-table fare as fish tacos, lobster rolls and bisque, chowders, salmon burgers and beer-battered fish and chips, plus an abundance of freshly shucked oysters.
Roxy and Jo's recently was launched by the proprietors of two other Original Farmers Market establishments, the European-inspired Monsieur Marcel Gourmet Market and Monsieur Marcel Seafood Market, a vendor of freshly caught seafood.
At Roxy and Jo's, diners can select a fish of choice, such as salmon, Dover sole or lobster, then watch as chefs pan-sear, steam or grill the entrees. Also on the menu from Chef Christophe Breat are his signature sides, including grilled truffle corn, homemade Miso coleslaw and crispy Miso Brussels sprouts.
