Nithya Raman Announces New Hollywood Hills Field Deputy

The councilwoman announced three new additions to her Council District 4 field office.

HOLLYWOOD, CA — Nithya Raman announced three new additions to her Council District 4 office Sunday. The new hires will take up roles as field deputies and Director of Communications, replacing other members who were promoted to higher positions in the office.

"We are thrilled to announce changes and additions to Team CD4," Raman said. Our new hires bring enthusiasm, dedication, and unique areas of expertise, and we know they will be incredibly valuable in serving our district."

Stella Stahl will serve as Director of Communications, after over four years working at nonprofits Planned Parenthood and Baby2Baby. Stahl previously earned a BA in Political Science and Theatre from Northwestern University, with experience in creative content, building community partnerships, and organizing a base of supporters.

Mehmet Berker joined the office as a field deputy for Bel Air-Beverly Crest, Greater Toluca Lake & Hollywood Hills West. Berker previously worked as a freelance cartographer, graphic designer and geographic information system analyst who has worked with clients such as economic development firms and urban planners.

Berker will replace Rachel Fox, who was promoted to Deputy District Director and will now oversee field operations.

Finally, Helene Rotolo will now serve as field deputy for Silver Lake, Los Feliz and Hollywood. Rotolo started her career as an intern for Mayor Eric Garcetti and later in the Office of the City Administrative Officer under the City's Homeless Coordinator. More recently, she was a project coordinator for the A Bridge Home program, working on feasibility analysis, construction budgets and contract negotiations for 20 shelter projects.

She will replace Sara Tanberg, who will now work as Homelessness Deputy to support Homelessness Coordinator Liz Oh.
