Man Killed In Hollywood Officer-Involved Shooting
The shooting happened on West Sunset Boulevard.

HOLLYWOOD, CA -- An officer-involved shooting left one person dead Monday morning at the 24-Hour Fitness in Hollywood. The shooting happened around 8 a.m. in the 6300 block of West Sunset Boulevard, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
Police said officers responded to the area after receiving a call of an altercation between a customer and 24-Hour Fitness employee.
"Officers responded and a confrontation occurred between a man in his 30s and the officers," Los Angeles police Officer Greg Kraft said. "At some point, the suspect gained control of the officer's Taser and the OIS ensued."

The suspect died at the scene, while an officer, who suffered minor injuries, was taken to a nearby hospital.
The name of the suspect was withheld pending notification of his family.
