Lights, camera, action! It’s time to get excited for the 92nd Academy Awards, happening Sunday at Dolby Theater Hollywood & Highland Center to honor the best movies of 2019.

For the second year in a row, the ceremony will be a no-host show. However, stars like Timothée Chalamet, Gal Gadot, Rami Malek and many more will take the stage to present the prestigious awards.

This year, crime drama “Joker” leads the field with 11 nominations, while the Manson-era tale "Once Upon a Time in Hollywood,” World War I drama “1917” and mob saga “The Irishman” follow closely behind with 10 nods each.

These same contenders are nominated in the Best Picture category, but the real Best Picture race is shaping up to be a showdown between “1917,” which won Best Picture at the Producers Guild of America Awards, and “Parasite,” which snagged the Best Ensemble prize at the Screen Actors Guild Awards.

Scarlett Johansson is nominated both for Best Actress in “Marriage Story” and for Best Supporting Actress in “Jojo Rabbit.” To date, she is only the 12th actor ever to hold the distinction of being a double-acting nominee in the same year.
