PaleyFest LA 2018 To Open With A Tribute To Barbra Streisand

The iconic star will kick off the star-studded event with a conversation about her legendary career.

This year marks the 35th edition of PaleyFest LA, and the milestone anniversary celebration will open with a tribute to Barbra Streisand, who will take part in a special conversation including clips highlighting her legendary work in television.

“PaleyFest LA 2018 will feature the very best that television has to offer including Emmy Award-winning comedies and dramas, intriguing sci-fi mysteries, and the acclaimed revival of one of television’s most beloved shows,” said Maureen J. Reidy, the Paley Center’s President and CEO. “We’re especially proud to honor Barbra Streisand as this year’s PaleyFest Icon, and look forward to celebrating her numerous television accomplishments.”

Taking place March 16-25 at the Dolby Theater in Hollywood, the television festival boasts star-studded panels from some of today’s most acclaimed and hottest television shows, including “The Handmaid’s Tale,” “Stranger Things,” “Will and Grace,” “Queen Sugar” and “Mom.” The combined panels of “The Big Bang Theory,” and “Young Sheldon” will also be in attendance.
