Pink's Hot Dogs Closed Through March Due To Coronavirus

The hot dog stand opted to close for the next two months to keep customers and employees safe during the pandemic.

HOLLYWOOD, CA — The famed Pink's Hot Dogs stand will be closed for at least the next two months as they look to keep customers and staffers safe during the pandemic. A longtime fuchsia staple on La Brea and Melrose Avenue since 1939, Pink's said the decision was made because of the virus' renewed surge.

"We will be closing for two months as of Monday morning, the 4th in order to keep our patrons and staff safe from the current Covid surge," Pink's wrote on Instagram. "See you in March. Please stay safe!"

Always known for long lines, Sunday was no exception as fans flocked to the stand to get one last link before they went away. Monday morning, Pink's shared a photo of three Wisconsin natives who had came down for a bite over the weekend.
