Power Outage Impacts Hundreds In Hollywood

LOS ANGELES, CA — Hundreds of Hollywood residents were without power Sunday afternoon due to a failure at a Department of Water and Power underground utility site.

Just before noon Sunday, crews were on the scene working to repair the problem, which left more than 400 customers without electricity Sunday morning.

Power is expected to be restored for most customers by about 1:30 p.m. However, because the repairs are underground and are more complex and time-consuming, some customers will have to go without power for most of the day, according to DWP.
