HOLLYWOOD, CA — Sunset Boulevard was shut down at the start of the afternoon rush hour Wednesday due to a gas leak.

The busy street was closed in both directions between Gower Street and Argyle Avenue and remained closed ast of 4:30 p.m. Commuters were advised to avoid Sunset Boulevard.
