Suspicious Package Found in Hollywood

A suspicious package was reported tonight in Hollywood and a Los Angeles Police Department bomb squad was sent to investigate.

Police were informed about 6:30 p.m. of the package near Hollywood Boulevard and La Brea Avenue, LAPD Officer Cleon Joseph said.

The package was determined not to be a threat, but the incident remained under investigation just before 9 p.m., Joseph said.
