Two Men Wounded in Hollywood Shooting Sunday

The shooting occurred before 4 a.m. at Sunset Boulevard and Formosa Avenue.

Two men were wounded Sunday morning following an altercation outside a Hollywood eatery, a police watch commander said.

The shooting occurred just before 4 a.m. at Sunset Boulevard and Formosa Avenue, said the watch commander at the LAPD Hollywood Station.

The two victims apparently got into an altercation with an unknown suspect in front of the Bossa Nova restaurant, the police official said.

The suspect shot one man in the chest and the other in the side. Both were transported to hospitals for treatment. The man wounded in the chest was in serious condition and the man with the side wound had stable vital signs, the watch commander said.

The suspect fled on foot and officers searched the area. They also detained a party bus to talk with possible witnesses, he said.
