Two Teens Purchase and Give McDonald's Burgers to Homeless in Los Angeles
The two boys deliver an act of kindness that goes beyond their expectations, feeding some 100 homeless folk and showing how good we can be.
Two teenage boys delivered an act of kindness in Los Angeles, the repercussions of which are resonating globally, and perhaps sparking more good deeds even though their actions took place in one city only.
Lance Stewart and Adin Kolansky, best friends and aspiring actors who moved here from New Jersey to pursue their careers, ordered 100 McDouble sandwiches, spending $151.51, according to ABC7. The duo then passed out the burgers to homeless people, capturing their efforts on video and posting it to YouTube, Instagram and Facebook.

From there, their generous and kind acts took off, blazing a trail across social media, bringing light to and inspiring others.
Their McDouble deliveries took them across some 20 miles they hadn’t envisioned traversing, according to KTLA Video (above), spending about six hours interacting with homeless folk.

On Lance’s Facebook page the text accompanying the video reads:
“Helping Those In Need (w/ Adin Kolansky)
(Tag a friend to brighten their day!)

Adin told KTLA the teens undertook what they call a “social experiment” because they want to “spread positivity.”
The duo said the homeless people “were unselfish as well,” handing food to the other homeless around them, making sure each person was fed.
“It was a really touching experience,” said Lance.
