What's New On Netflix: July 2021
Get the full list of movies and TV shows on Netflix this month, including the "Fear Street" trilogy and the return of "Never Have I Ever."

Summer has arrived, and the hottest season of the year is heating up in Netflix land in July: For the first time ever in its nearly 25-year history, the streaming service will release new installments of a movie series one after the other on a weekly basis.
This rare move marks a departure from the company’s long-standing tradition of dropping an entire movie franchise or seasons of shows in one massive rollout — all at the same time.
So get excited, as the consequential moment kicks off Friday with the debut of the Netflix original movie “Fear Street Part 1: 1994," the first installment in a time-spanning teen horror trilogy. The rollout continues on July 9 with “Fear Street Part 2: 1978," followed by “Fear Street Part 3: 1666” on July 16.

In July, Netflix will also premiere other highly anticipated original films, including the sci-fi “Trollhunters: Rise of the Titans,” the rom-com “Resort to Love,” the adventure thriller “Gunpowder Milkshake,” the action-packed “The Last Mercenary” and the horror thriller “A Classic Horror Story.”
Meanwhile, the young adult series “Never Have I Ever” and “Outerbanks” return for Season 2. Other notable Netflix original shows making their way to the streaming platform this month include new seasons of “Young Royals," “Cat People,” “Virgin River" and “Sky Rojo,” as well as the final season of “Atypical.”

Netflix also adds a number of anime and animated originals such as “Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness,” “Masters of the Universe: Revelation” and the revival of “Johnny Test.”
Looking for nostalgic films? Look no further than the “Austin Powers” trilogy, the “Karate Kid” trilogy and the entire collection of the teen vampire saga “Twilight.”
