What's New On Netflix: June 2019

Summertime is almost here, and Netflix is all set to usher it in with an exciting slate of releases that are bound to delight everyone this month.

June's Netflix-original content is heating up with “Murder Mystery,” starring Jennifer Aniston and Adam Sandler as a couple who get entangled in a whodunnit on a luxurious super yacht. The miniseries "Tales of the City" is also streaming, with Olympia Dukakis and Laura Linney returning to their roles of the eccentric Anna Madrigal and the Cleveland-native Mary Ann Singleton, respectively.

The streaming platform will also welcome popular superhero films, including the first two films of Christopher Nolan’s “Batman” trilogy, which star Christian Bale as the Dark Knight. The animation “Spider-Man: Into the Spiderverse,” as well as the final season of Marvel’s “Jessica Jones” also arrive this month.

Those looking for classic movies are in for a treat with the arrival of “Cat on a Hot Tin Roof,” “Cabaret,” “Carrie” and “Network.”

And fans of “Black Mirror” and “Designated Survivor” are eagerly awaiting the shows' returns for Season 5 and Season 4, respectively.
