What's New On Netflix: October 2017

Hey horror movie fans, are you trying to get into the Halloween groove? Allow Netflix to help you with its slate of spooky chills and thrills. This October, the streaming giant’s highlights include the second season of “Stranger Things,” “Cult Chucky,” “Raw,” “The Mist” and Stephen King’s “1922” — just in case the release of his film "It" wasn't enough for you.

Not into the scary movie genre? Fear not — there are plenty of other Netflix selections to watch instead, including “Blood Diamond,” “Meet the Robinsons,” “Hateful Eight,” “The Meyerowitz Stories” and “Mind Hunter.”

For the lighthearted offerings, fans can look forward to streaming “Miss Congeniality,” “Sleeping with Other People,” “Haters Back Off” and “Cinderella Story: Once Upon A Song.”

And let's not forget Robert Redford and Jane Fonda's new rom-com, "Our Souls at Night." Trust us when we say these two Hollywood icons are just simply adorable together onscreen.
