What's New On Netflix: October 2018

As we settle into the season, the once lush greenery is morphing into fiery autumnal hues, and the fall air begins to grow more crisp. Luckily, the month of October is a pretty good excuse to stay inside and binge all your fall favorites on Netflix.

With Halloween creeping up on us, it’s no surprise that the horror genre is taking center stage this month. Among the new releases are Jack Nicholson’s classic thriller “The Shining” and Al Pacino’s spooky mystery “The Devil’s Advocate.” Netflix originals also make a splash in the horror world, including the series premieres of “The Chilling Adventures Of Sabrina” and “The Haunting Of Hill House.”

If you're not the horror movie type, you can stream comedy films like Monty Python’s cult classic “Life Of Brian,” as well as Adam Sandler's “Billy Madison” and “Anger Management.”

A slew of new Netflix original movies also premiere this month, including Maggie Gyllenhaal’s “The Kindergarten Teacher,” Dan Stevens’s “Apostle,” Paul Greengrass’s “22 July” and Toni Collette’s “Wanderlust.”
