Winds on the Way, Advisory Issued for Hollywood Friday
Forecasters predict high winds for the Hollywood area and advise drivers of high profile vehicles to be cautious.
Santa Ana winds are expected to batter the Southland Friday afternoon and continue for most of the day Saturday.Â
The National Weather Service has issued a wind advisory for Hollywood starting 10 a.m. Friday to 3 p.m. Saturday. The forecasters predict northeast winds from 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 50 mph. The strongest winds are expected Friday night and early Saturday morning.
