Zooey Deschanel and Joel McHale to Host Writers Guild Awards
The two to co-host the Feb. 19 ceremony at Hollywood Palladium.

Actress Zooey Deschanel and actor-comedian Joel McHale will co-host the Writers Guild of America Awards from the on Feb. 19, the guild announced Wednesday.
The awards will be handed out during simultaneous ceremonies in New York and Hollywood.
McHale said he was looking forward to co-hosting the event with Deschanel.

"She has that rare combination in that she's beautiful, funny and smells good," he said. "Without writers, movies and TV would be worse than untreated syphilis, so I'm thrilled to hand these fine people awards for their great work."
McHale stars in the NBC series Community, and hosts E!'s The Soup, a comedic look at pop culture and current events.

Deschanel stars in the Fox series New Girl, and has appeared in films such as (500) Days of Summer, Yes Man and Our Idiot Brother.
