From Jack Ofield comes a group of recent computer-generated paintings depicting wide-ranging subject matter. Witty and colorful, the works reveal the whiz-kid draftsmanship honed during his years with ad agencies in New York and as a theater set designer in Great Britain and North America.

Ofield's several careers -- filmmaker, animator, graphic designer, painter and writer -- have come full circle to an all-digital creative oeuvre. He is a member of the Directors Guild of America, a directing fellow of the American Film Institute, and emeritus professor of Film and former filmmaker-in-residence at San Diego State University.

His productions for all major networks in the USA, Great Britain, Canada and Scandinavia have received many awards. His artistic versatility now encompasses the time-traveling creations in this exhibit, with their references to mythology, history, the arts, urban life, science and industry.
