Din Tai Fung, the popular Taiwanese noodle and dumpling restaurant chain, has landed at Aria in Las Vegas.

Housed in the former Aria Café spot, this sprawling Asian eatery is sleek and modern with 40-foot glass floor to ceiling windows and an open kitchen window for diners waiting on a table to watch chefs making dumplings. There’s also a cute miniature chef mascot next to steaming baskets, perfect for posing for a pre-meal selfie.

Once inside, the dining space is a multi-level rectangular area housing beige tables, booths and chairs under massive cylinder pendant lights and sea foam green and silver design elements.

Spicy wontons are stuffed with chicken, shrimp, vegetables and pork and include a vegan option. There’s also chicken, mushroom, pork and vegetable fluffy buns.

We loved all of the dumpling flavor combinations including chicken, shrimp and pork, pork, vegetable and pork, steamed cod and sticky rice and pork. Noodle soups are comforting and flavorful and include the braised beef, chicken, pork chop, shrimp, vegan, pickled greens with pork and tofu with glass noodle dishes.

Sauced noodles make a hearty accompaniment and join beef and peppers, pork and pickled mustard greens in sesame and house spicy sauces.

The wok fried rice is also a tasty choice on it’s own or topped with shrimp, pork, chicken or vegetables. Other wok-fried dishes include shrimp, chicken, pork and vegetable fried noodles and Shanghai fried rice cakes with shrimp, chicken, pork and vegetables.

Green vegetable sides are sautéed with ginger and garlic. We loved the crisp broccoli, kale with garlic and sautéed bok choy.

The beverage menu is also full of fun options including hot, milk and iced teas, some topped with sea salt; honey lemonade, fruit slushies, smoothies and fresh squeezed juices.

Desserts are also encased in fluffy buns with decadent chocolate and sweet red bean and taro fillings.
