Lahaina Grill Serves up Award Winning New American Cuisine

Maui restaurant has been open for 28 years in Lahaina

Located in downtown Lahaina, the Lahaina Grill opened in 1990 as a small 55-seat bistro off of Front Street. Over the years, the restaurant expanded and now houses 155 seats in two dining areas with local artwork, a pressed tin ceiling, tiled floors and eclectic décor.

Local ingredients are integrated in dishes throughout the menu including the cake walk trio of appetizers consisting of a lobster, rock crab and scallop cake with avocado relish and mustard cream; a seared ahi tuna cake with rick and a tamari ginger vinaigrette; and a white shrimp cake with hoisin and crème fraiche. Other dishes include cornmeal dusted fried oysters, seared tuna and foie gras, blue corn chile relleno, boneless short ribs, home-made meatballs, Kono coffee roasted rack of lamb, tequila shrimp and firecracker rice, local mahi mahi and lobster with truffle champagne beurre blanc.

Desserts include a triple berry pie, a vintage Hawaiian chocolate cake with chocolate sour cream mousse, Kula lime tart and an oreo crusted Kona coffee ice cream pie.
