New Game of Thrones Libations

The final season of the Game of Thrones series begins on April 14 and there are new libations to enjoy while watching the show.

White Walker by Johnnie Walker, a limited edition inspired by the scary and deadly White Walkers with a single malts blend from Scotland’s Cardhu and Clynelish distilleries. This special blend has notes of vanilla, berries and orchard fruit. Its bottle has an icy white and blue design with a surprise graphic reveal when frozen.

Game of Thrones Single Malt Scotch Collection, also from DIAGEO, features eight scotches paired with one of the Houses of Westeros, along with the Night’s Watch. Each whisky is distinct.

Wine lovers can toast the final season with a red wine blend, chardonnay or cabernet sauvignon for $20 a bottle from Game of Thrones Wines and beer drinkers can enjoy Brewery Ommegang’s For the Throne, their final Game of Thrones themed golden ale beer.

La Fruteria Opens at Grand Central Market in Downtown

La Fruteria, the new Mexican fruit stand at Grand Central Market in downtown LA, is now open. Featuring spicy and healthy fruit cups, salads, shakes and bowls, the stand is open 9 am to 6 pm Monday through Thursday and 9 am to 8 pm Friday through Sunday.
