The end of August marks the beginning of the Falcon Theatre's 10th anniversary subscription season. Five new shows featuring familiar faces bring laughter and lyrics to Toluca Lake audiences.

The season begins with Laurel and Hardy, an homage to the comedy duo of Stan and Ollie. The production features some of the pair's famous sketches, slapstick and music and dance routines. Paul C. Vogt stars as Oliver Hardy and Kevin Blake stars as Stan Laurel. The show runs August 31 to October 2.

Laurel and Hardy is followed by Southern Comforts, an off Broadway hit by Kathleen Clark. The romantic comedy explores the relationship between two retirement age newlyweds starring Michael Learned and Granville Van Dusen. The show runs Oct. 12 to Nov. 13.
