Toluca Lake Restaurants Participate in dineLA Week

The biggest culinary event of the year, dineLA week, will run from Oct. 2 through 7 and 9 through 14. Sponsored by the Los Angeles Convention and Visitors Bureau, American Express and foursquare, the event offers discounted three course meals at hundreds of fine dining restaurants.

The event offers three dining categories, deluxe, premier and fine dining with specially priced three-course meals for lunch and dinner including appetizer, entrée and dessert.

Two Toluca Lake restaurants are participating in dineLA week, Ernie's Mexican Restaurant and Firenze Osteria. Ernie’s is offering lunch for $16 with a choice of tortilla soup, cheese quesadilla, or Caesar salad; a burrito, combination plate with tacos and a cheese enchilada, or fajitas, and flan, fried ice cream or apple chimichunga for dessert. For dinner, at $26, they are offering albondigas soup, panchos or Caesar salad, fajitas, steak and cheese enchiladas, or a dinner combination plate with chile rellano, taquitos, and chicken enchiladas and flan, fried ice cream and apple chimichunga for dessert.

Firenze Osteria is also offering lunch, for $22, with a choice of butternut squash soup, beef tartar, or butter lettuce; Kobe meatloaf, blackened sole, or salad with parmesan chicken, and orange chocolate cake and cannoli. Dinner, at $34, has chicken liver crostini, beef tartar, and grilled artichoke; crispy pork belly, seared tuna or wild game ragu, with orange chocolate cake or tiramisu with dessert.

After spending a minimum of $21 per check, American Express members will receive a $5 credit on their card.

Ernie’s Mexican Restaurant is located at 4410 Lankershim and Firenze Osteria is located at 4212 Lankershim.
