PLEASANTON, CA — It's shaping up to be a star-spangled Fourth of July in neighborhoods near Pleasanton and the East Bay.

As coronavirus cases continue to drop across the state, and the number of those vaccinated continues to rise, Independence Day events are opening up area-wide.

July 4 is almost here, so find out what Fourth of July fireworks and festivities are going on near you.

We have all the fireworks shows, parades and festivals happening around Pleasanton and the East Bay region, so you can start planning.
