BART Transbay Service Up and Running

Transit Between Oakland and SF Running After 3-Day Maintenance Hiatus

BART has resumed transbay service between Oakland and San Francisco this morning after the Transbay Tube was closed for three days for maintenance, according to BART officials.

The first trains made their runs at about 4:10 a.m., the officials said. BART reported that the earliest trains were about 20 minutes late while normal operations were restored through the tube.
