Beloved Pleasanton Priest Succumbs To Cancer

PLEASANTON, CA — The community is mourning the loss of a beloved priest who served the Tri-Valley for most of his professional life. Fr. Paul D. Minnihan was the pastor at the Catholic Community of Pleasanton.

Minnihan was undergoing chemotherapy for Stage 4 Hodgkin’s Lymphoma when he died on Feb. 24, according to the Catholic Community of Pleasanton Facebook page.

Minnihan was appointed to the Catholic Community of Pleasanton in 2013. The church has not yet announced funeral information.
