Big-Rig Crash, Sigalert On I-680: Traffic Delays From Pleasanton

ALAMEDA COUNTY, CA — Delays Tuesday on southbound I-680 from Pleasanton to Fremont were due to a collision involving a big rig that was blocking lanes.

The crash between the big rig and a car was reported around 9:46 a.m. at the SR-238 connector, according to the California Highway Patrol.

A Sigalert was issued shortly after 10 a.m.

The express lane at Andrade Road was closed.

The extent of injuries, if any, due to the crash is not immediately known.

The interstate was cleared and traffic was moving at regular speed by 1:15 p.m. Tuesday.
