Chabot football coach Eric Fanene is thrilled that seven Gladiators have signed National Letters of Intent and 10 others have received offers.
Impressively, all 19 Chabot sophomores could land scholarships with universities by the end of the spring.
“Our goal as a football program is to transfer ALL student-athletes to the next level. … We are proud of their hard work and wish the players who have signed good luck at their new schools,” Fanene says.
Here are Chabot’s signees so far: OL-Brandon Finamore, Youngstown State; OL-Matthew Guevremont, Malone; DB-Dante Griffith-Johnson, Fort Lewis; DB-Jelifer Alfonse, Henderson State; DB-Viliamu Aukusitino, Colorado State-Pueblo; LB-Ricky Flowers, Mayville; TE/FB-Sam Adams, Humboldt State.

Here are the Gladiators with offers: QB-Johnny O’Brien; WR-Malik Langham; WR-Malik Henderson; DB-Lakevion Thomas; OL-Andre Johnson; RB-David Teu; DL-EJ Labaze; WR-Austin Camel; WR-Shanai Leon; DB-Josh Bembry.

Sophomore running back Keon Suber and defensive lineman Raheem Patterson are being marketed hard by Chabot football and should receive offers sometime this spring, Fanene says.
"All these young men dedicate themselves to Chabot College and Chabot Football for a minimum of 1½ years with the goal to transfer to four-year institutions,” Fanene says.
