Local Wellness Providers Team Up for Monthly Presentations with Q&A's

Have you ever wondered why your coworker goes to a chiropractor? Are you curious about how those tiny little needles used for acupuncture can help with chronic pain or fertility? Do you wonder how personal training could make your exercise program more effective and time-efficient?

These questions and more will be answered at a monthly series hosted at my local fitness training studio throughout 2018 by fellow local practitioners who are rooted in the community and committed to making your life better.

Since 1998, when I left a career in high-tech and biotech corporate finance to build a fitness training and education business, I’ve made working closely with other well-regarded local preventive and integrative wellness service providers a priority. That has paid high dividends in boosting my awareness about the critical role we each play as parts of the client’s holistic health care team and how we interact in order to provide the best possible care.

To extend and deepen that awareness to the broader audience of interested Tri Valley residents, some of us have teamed up to put on a series of discussions that are intended to demystify what we all do, how we do it and how and whether what we do can help you live a happier, healthier life.

I’m presenting the first topic – Optimal Fitness through Self-Acceptance – at my studio tomorrow. We’ll cover the critical role of body acceptance and intrinsic value alignment with everyday health habits that result in a vibrant, energetic and positive outlook and physical condition.
