Coroner IDs Man Killed In Crash Along Pleasanton Sunol Road
The head-on crash was reported at 5:16 a.m. Thursday.
ALAMEDA COUNTY, CA — A man killed in a head-on collision on Pleasanton Sunol Road in unincorporated Alameda County early Thursday morning has been identified by the Alameda County coroner's bureau as 29-year-old Jorge Esparza of Modesto.
The two-vehicle crash was reported at 5:16 a.m. Thursday just south of Koopman Road and an off-ramp from southbound Interstate Highway 680, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Esparza was killed in the collision and another person was taken to Eden Medical Center with minor injuries, CHP Officer Tyler Hahn said.
