2017 Pleasanton Concert In The Park Lineup
The series will take place every Friday night from June 2 through August 2.
From the Pleasanton Downtown Association: The Pleasanton Downtown Association’s (PDA) popular Concert in the Park series will take place every Friday night from June 2 through August 25, featuring an eclectic mix of music from rock, blues and folk to 50’s and 60’s oldies, soul, and Latin rock. The free concerts run from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and take place at Lions Wayside Park on the corner of First Street and Neal Street.
Patrons are encouraged to pick up dinner “to go” from one of Downtown Pleasanton's many restaurants and bring it with them to the park. Concert goers can even responsibly enjoy their own wine or beer while listening to music. Beer Baron will help kick off concert season by serving up delicious food options in the park at concerts through July 7. Handles Gastropub will be serving up an amazing menu during concerts from July 14 through August 25. Be sure to check the PDA Facebook each week to see what will be on the menu. Concert goers are invited to stop by the PDA information table near the stage at Lions Wayside Park to enter a free raffle for a chance to win gift cards and special prize baskets from local businesses.
While guests are allowed to put out blankets and chairs (at their own risk) in Lions Wayside and Delucchi Parks, they are asked to wait until the morning of the concert to do so. The use of rocks to hold down blankets is prohibited, as large rocks can damage lawn-mowing equipment. Also, the use of plastic tarps, which can burn the grass, is not allowed.
