
Some parts of the Bay Area received more than three-quarters of an inch of rain between 2 p.m. Friday and 2 p.m. Saturday, according to the National Weather Service.
A total of 0.76 inches of rainfall was recorded at two locations near Guerneville in Sonoma County, according to meteorologists, while a measurement near Santa Rosa showed just 0.03 inches. At Ocean Beach in San Francisco, 0.21 inches of rainfall was recorded. The downtown area got 0.15 inches and the North Beach neighborhood received just 0.1 inches of rain.
Napa and Marin counties both had some areas that received more than a half-inch of rainfall, as did Monterey County. Totals were notably less in the East Bay, with 0.23 inches of rainfall in Martinez and 0.1 inches or less recorded in Oakland.
