Foothill High Accredited for Six Years

Foothill High School's accreditation was recently extended for six years, according to a newsletter announcement by principal John Dwyer earlier this month.

In the newsletter, John Dwyer said:

I would like to pass on to our whole school community the great news that the accrediting commission for schools of the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) has upheld the accreditation term appeal submitted by Foothill High School and has granted us a six-year status of accreditation through June 2018.

This is wonderful news for our school and serves to confirm and validate the great work our teachers, staff and administrators do to support high levels of achievement for all our students.

Many thanks to our whole school community for their support in preparation for this appeal and visit by the accrediting commission, especially to those students, teachers, staff and parents who were directly involved with the writing of the appeal and meetings with the WASC visiting committee.
