Get Rid of Your Old Shoes and You Could Earn Earn $100!

Foothill High School Student, Christopher Lee, Leads Effort to Keep Shoes Out of the Landfill

(Christopher Lee)

Christopher Lee is a member of the Foothill High School Local Leaders of the 21st Century Club sponsored by Pleasanton-based charity organization, the Go Green Initiative. Christopher is inviting the public to get involved in community service with a shoe drive! The shoe drive is a very safe and easy opportunity to earn student volunteer hours, where students would collect gently used shoes from family and friends. The collected shoes will not only help the environment by removing shoes from landfills, but they will be donated to Soles 4 Souls, a non-profit that distributes shoes to people who need them the most around the world. The form below must be completed by April 30, 2021 to be eligible for both community service hours and the $100 reward. The top 5 collectors will be announced in May.
