I-580 Crash Causes Injuries, Traffic: Pleasanton

PLEASANTON, CA — The California Highway Patrol issued a severe traffic alert Tuesday morning after a single-car crash that left people with injuries and snarled traffic on eastbound I-580, west of Santa Rita Road in Pleasanton. Drivers were advised to take avoid the area and expect delays.

The crash was reported shortly before 11 a.m. and blocked the left and center lanes, CHP said. CHP was unsure of when the road might reopen.
