YES ON K

I was one of the authors of Measure PP. We wrote PP to make sure housing developments would have to follow rules that keep houses off of ridges and preserve our scenic views.

The people of Pleasanton agreed and Measure PP became law.

I would be the first person to speak out against any project that violates Measure PP. That's why I have followed the process for Lund Ranch closely and attended every public hearing.

The Lund Ranch project is exactly what we hoped to achieve when we wrote PP. It fully complies with Measure PP - and shows that PP works.

There are no houses on ridges. There are no houses on hillsides. Our scenic views are protected.

Our General Plan allows up to 143 homes on Lund Ranch's 195 acres. By applying the PP rules we cut Lund Ranch down to just 43 homes, preserving 89.5% of the land for permanent open space and two miles of publicly accessible trails.

I will be voting YES on K.
