Man Arrested In Pleasanton Amid 100 Rifle Rounds Fired Into Homes
A man was arrested on suspicion of firing 100 rifle rounds into several homes in Pleasanton Friday night.
PLEASANTON, CA — A man was arrested Friday night on suspicion of "repeatedly" firing a gun from inside his home in Pleasanton. About 100 rifle rounds entered several nearby homes, according to the Pleasanton Police Department.
No injuries were reported and there were no other people inside the man's home on Arroyo Ct. as he shot the gun, police said in a statement. The man was taken into custody by patrol officers and the East County Tactical Team.
His identity was not released by police.

The suspect was set to be evaluated by mental health professionals. He was booked into the Santa Rita Jail in connection with discharging a firearm at an inhabited dwelling, police said.
