Mithil Prasad Youth Chapter Virtual Paint Night
Mithil Prasad Youth Chapter is hosting a virtual paint night on May 16th from 4-6pm to fundraise for the DIPG community.

Mithil Prasad was a caring and energetic boy who was born on December 29, 2003. He was funny, encouraging, and an avid baseball player. After being diagnosed with Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma (DIPG), the deadliest pediatric brain tumor, in 2015, Mithil passed away on November 27th, 2016. We now honor Mithil through the Mithil Prasad Foundation to help children just like him. The Mithil Prasad Foundation works to find a cure for DIPG as well as support patients battling DIPG.
Recently, a group of high school students in the Tri-Valley have started a youth chapter for the foundation. Led by Pleasanton high school student Sana Jayavarapu, they work to reach new audiences and support their foundation's cause.
The Youth Chapter is hosting a virtual paint night on May 16th from 4-6pm to fundraise and bring awareness for DIPG. The event will include performances from local students, talks about DIPG, and more! All painting supplies will be provided with a ticket and the paintings made during the event will be recollected to be given to children battling DIPG.

We will also have a virtual children’s workshop for kids between 1st-3rd grade, which is led by the professional colored pencil artist Ranjini Venkatachari. She will be teaching kids how to make a paint of their own right before the main event and the ticket to the children's workshop gives access to the main event as well!
Please spread the word about our event and support us by registering for the paint night. You can also follow us on instagram, @mpfyouthchapter, or FaceBook, Mithil Prasad Youth Chapter, to stay updated.
