New Italian Restaurant Coming To Pleasanton: Locanda Amalfi

Locanda Amalfi, an Italian restaurant, has sister restaurants in Danville and Lafayette. It's expected to open early next year.

PLEASANTON, CA — A new Italian pizzeria and bar, Locanda Amalfi, is expected to open in February or March of next year in downtown Pleasanton.

The restaurant, located at 349 Main St., will be open seven days a week from 11:30 a.m. to 10 p.m., with a bottomless mimosa brunch on Saturday and Sunday.

Locanda Amalfi has sister restaurants in Danville and Lafayette, called Locanda Ravello and Locanda Positano, respectively. They bill themselves as Amalfi Coast-style cuisine and serve piza, pasta and other Italian dishes.

Locanda Positano was named best new restaurant in Diablo Magazine's 2018 Best of the East Bay list.
