'Night Market' At Alameda Co. Fairgrounds Brings Taste, Traffic

The family friendly event that runs Friday through Sunday marks the last NorCal Night Market for 2019.

PLEASANTON, CA — The largest Asian-inspired night market in the Bay Area returns to the Alameda County Fairgrounds this weekend, with a variety of exciting vendors, attractions, local community talent, and traffic.

The NorCal Night Market may cause some extra traffic from 4 p.m. to midnight on Friday, as well as throughout Saturday and Sunday, around Bernal and Valley Avenues near the fairgrounds, according to Pleasanton police.

"Please use caution and patience when driving in the area," police said.

The family friendly event that runs Friday through Sunday marks the last NorCal Night Market for 2019. Suitable for all ages, it features 200+ food and merchandise vendors, crafters, games, an art walk, and live music. Organizers invite chefs, artists, musicians, businesses, and entrepreneurs from all over the community to participate.

"NorCal Night Market aims to bring the electric spirit of night markets and taste of international cuisines to Northern California," organizers said. "Let the sights, sounds, and smell overwhelm your senses ... ."
