PLEASANTON, CA — For all of 2020's pitfalls, it has been the year of renewed appreciation for picnics and dining in the great outdoors.

Beets Hospitality Group, a Pleasanton management company and caterer, has risen to meet the socially distanced moment and is now offering picnics near the vineyards at Palm Event Center (1184 Vineyard Ave.).

Enjoy a picnic with boxed snacks such as a sandwich, cheese, vegetables, dips and dessert. Order cocktails, Rubino Estates wines, beers and other non-alcoholic drinks.

Picnickers can choose to sit at a table, on a blanket or in an outdoor lounge area with couches.

Tickets go for $42 per person and guests must make reservations. Social distancing is required.
