Pleasanton Foothill Little League Opening Day This Weekend

PLEASANTON, CA — The Pleasanton Foothill Little League will be celebrating its 2018 opening day this Saturday at the Bernal Sports Park in Pleasanton. League officials said the traditional ceremony has been changed this season. Each level will have its own ceremony followed by a pre-season exhibition game. Food and music starts at about 11 a.m. through 1 p.m.

Here is a schedule of events from the Pleasanton Foothill Little League:

• Majors - Ceremony 8:30 a.m. -9 a.m., pre-season game 9 a.m.
• AAA - Ceremony 11 a.m. -11:30 a.m. , pre-season game 11:30 a.m.
• AA - Ceremony 1:20 p.m.-2 p.m., round robin play 2 p.m.
• A - Ceremony 9 p.m.-9:30, round robin play 9:30 a.m.
• Farm - Ceremony 12:30 p.m.-1 p.m., round robin play 1 p.m.
• Tee ball - Ceremony 10 a.m. -10:30 a.m., round robin play 10:30 a.m.

The Bernal Sports Park is located at 7001 Pleasanton Ave.
