Pleasanton To Get New Downtown Taproom

The Bay Area brewing company is currently open for retail, but will eventually offer live music and food, Bay Area News Group reported.

PLEASNTON, CA — A Bay Area brewing company has opened a new location in downtown Pleasanton.

Gilman Brewing Co. has moved into the storefront at 706 Main St., where it is currently offering beers to go as the company works to secure necessary permits and finish renovations, according to the company's website. This is Gilman's third location, with others in Berkeley and Daly City.

The location will eventually open its 2,500-square foot taproom and offer live music and small bites such as pretzels, the news organization reported. A partnership with local favorite Brava Garden Eatery will offer patrons lunch and dinner service, according to Bay Area News Group.

Swing by the taproom to pick up brews from 11 to 5 p.m. Wednesday and 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday through Sunday.

The news from Gilman Brewing Co. comes after Fieldwork Brewing Co. announced an expansion at its City Center Bishop Ranch location in San Ramon. Fieldwork is slated to begin offering this month a full menu with 10 Neapolitan-style pizzas and expand its indoor taproom area by an additional 900 square feet.
