Pleasanton Hometown Holiday Parade, Tree Lighting 2018
Thousands are expected to turn out for the popular event.

PLEASANTON, CA — The East Bay community is invited to the upcoming Pleasanton Hometown Holiday Parade and Tree Lighting Ceremony on Saturday, December 1, 2018 on Main Street.
The parade will step off at 5 p.m. and will include the Amador Valley and Foothill High school marching bands, animal groups, hot rod clubs, the police and fire departments. The annual tree lighting will start at about 6:45 p.m. and rumor has it that Santa will be making a guest appearance.
Police said Main Street will be closed to cars from Stanley Boulevard to Bernal Avenue beginning at 3 p.m Saturday. Parade-goers should call the parade cancellation telephone hotline in the event of rain. The Hometown Holiday Hotline is 925-931-5352.
