Pleasanton Jersey Mike's Donating Sales To Firefighters For A Day

PLEASANTON, CA — The Pleasanton Jersey Mike's Subs store is among 12 Bay Area locations donating 100 percent of sales to the California State Firefighters' Association on Wednesday, March 31.

The association said on its website that it represents thousands of fire service professionals, and seeks to advocate for firefighters and improve their working conditions.

The effort is part of the sandwich franchise chain's Month of Giving, which has raised $32 million since 2011. Jersey Mike's said in a news release that it hopes to shatter its record and raise more than $8 million this year.
