Pleasanton's Main Street To See Closures Over Next 2 Months
Starting Friday, closures will take place on weekends to accommodate outdoor dining during the coronavirus pandemic.
PLEASANTON, CA — A portion of Main Street will be closed from 2 to 8 p.m. Friday through Sunday over the next eight weekends, as restaurants look to safely accommodate customers outside during the coronavirus pandemic.
The changes will go into effect Friday, June 19 — the same day that Alameda County will start allowing outdoor dining, retail and fitness business to operate, police said.
Main Street will be closed from Bernal Avenue to Del Valle Parkway. Through traffic will be allowed at St. John Street and Ray Street, and Rose Avenue and Neal Street, police said.
