PG&E has reported power outages in Pleasanton this morning and have crews on site. They estimate restoration at 10:15 a.m., although they have not yet identified the issue.
The cause remains under investigation, but PG&E spokesman J.D. Guidi said it appears there was some sort of underground equipment failure in the area of Angela and First streets.
At one point this morning, nearly 6,000 customers were without electricity, Guidi said.
Patch will update this story as more information is made available.
