Public Safety Appreciation Highlights 1st Wednesday Street Party
Highlighted by public safety appreciation activities, the street party will also feature live music, kids zone, food trucks, and more.

From Pleasanton Downtown Association: The 1st Wednesday Street Party of July 5th from 6-9pm will mark the Second Annual Salute to Public Safety Street Party as downtown will celebrate and thank our hardworking police and fire departments. Join us on Division and Main Street for special fun public safety activities for the kids. Highlighted by public safety appreciation activities, the street party will also feature live music, kids zone, food trucks, vendor exhibits, Beer & Wine Garden and much more. 1st Wednesdays are where we can all gather, celebrate and enjoy the heart of our community.
PUBLIC SAFTEY APPRECIATION – We will honor, support and celebrate our First Responders with a salute to our dedicated local Firefighters and Police Officers. Join us on Division and Main Street for special public safety activities. Kids will receive custom balloons and hats plus take part in our photo booth station where they can collectively create a “Thank You” album to give to our local Fire and Police Departments.
KID ZONE – There is something for everyone to enjoy during 1st Wednesdays! Bring the kids out to enjoy theme park style Teacup rides and more by Fun and Game Rentals. Get creative with the Alameda County Fair and explore their new innovative arts and crafts experience. The Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory’s Fun with Science team will also be doing interactive and lively demonstrations for the children. All happening in the Kids Zone located on St. Mary Street and Main!

FOOD, FOOD, FOOD! – Get ready to indulge in some of the best street eats of the Bay Area presented by Food Truck Mafia. In July Food Truck Mafia will feature Out of the Cave, Roderick's BBQ, Chick n Chill and 3 Geeks. Enjoy your food truck finds while sitting and listening to live music in the Entertainment Garden in the Inklings lot. Indulge in sweet treats from downtown vendors Primrose Bakery, Noland’s Cake Shop and Rita’s Italian Ice. Or relax and take in the scene at one of our beautiful restaurant patios and enjoy a delicious meal.
MUSIC, MUSIC & MUSIC – House Call will be performing high energy music from 6-9pm on the Entertainment Garden Stage. In addition to the featured band in the Entertainment Garden, enjoy live music from talented local bands and artists while strolling throughout Main Street.

BEER & WINE GARDEN – Located within the Entertainment Garden in the Inklings Parking lot at 530 Main Street adults 21 years of age and older will enjoy beer and wine while rocking with House Call. In July Roudon-Smith Winery and Cellar Door will be serving up their best varietals by the glass while Handles on Main pours craft beer for the beer lovers.
