The park seems fully utilized already without adding a bus to the mix. The Ridge is special partly because it is a challenge to get to. There are other lovely vista points that people can drive to. —JT
Great idea! The park was created with public dollars for public use. —Jocelyn Combs

I'm hiking the ridge this morning by coincidence and I am NOT happy to hear about this. I'm sorry for those that aren't either in good enough physical shape to complete the hike or handicapped but I don't think there should be shuttles going on trails that are filled with pedestrians (including children), bicyclists and horses. Not a good mix. —LvmrBornNRaised
This is horrible idea! Hikers, bicyclists & dogs DO NOT want to smell auto exhaust! Kind of defeats the point of enjoying a fresh air hike! —Monique
I like the idea and hope it works out. As stated by someone in a prior posting, it's only 9 trips per week. I doubt very much that it will bother anyone and will make portions of the park more accessible to more people. To bad the complainers don't have compassion for those less fortunate that can't make the hike up that steep hill. I say Kudos to EBRPD. —G. Creely
As an equestrian and hiker, I am opposed to this. I like to ride those trails, not battle vans. I can't imagine having enough room in some spots to ride safely with a van driving on the same "trail". —Becky Love
